Thanks but I think that RH6.2 includes support for TTF files within its font server 
(xfs), which supersedes xfstt.
This whole thing is getting me mad: I am able to see the fonts in xfontsel (after 
ttmkfdir -c -o and a little tweaking, and mkfontdir) but no result in MXJ.
Under Win NT, all is OK.
