At the top right of most windows are three little boxes. The left of
these ( like a letter box) minimises your window. The right of the
three closes your window ( and clears all its resources ) .
And the one in the middle...
Toggles between maximised ( ie filling the screen ) and
normalised.
Normalised could fill the screen but normally does not. If the software
author create the window so that it could be resized then you can "drag"
it to new sizes.
