John, you missed the fine print in their licensing document. Their 
licensing covers the "MapQuest� or TravelGuide USA" material, not USGS 
topographic maps, which are in the public domain. I didn't (and don't) 
encourage use of "MapQuest� or TravelGuide USA" information without permission.
