Some day in the future, other technologies (such as list hosting software) will
mature (i.e. become spatially enabled).
I look forward to this day when we will be able to spatially limit our intended
audience allowing the dissemination of messages like these to the relevant
people (and not sending it to other people who are not interested in that
particular message).
Personally I don't care either way about receiving messages advertising user
group meetings. (It may be appropriate to set up a MapInfo bulletin board where
people can post messages such as these.
