Good morning, good afternoon, and for some good night.
I think that user groups posted here are as valuable to the GIS community as
much as Mapinfo-L is. Even if they are half a world away, they provide us
with details of GIS developments in other countries. If you do take the
time to read the user group mail you can even find useful resources and
ideas for your own GIS systems. Just today i read the North West MapInfo
User's Group - Meeting and News. I found some cool notes on using the
Distance() function, read about Graphis and Publishing Issues in MapInfo,
and finally i checked out the MapBasic code fragments in the FAQ's. I spent
about 15 mins on the site and thought it was worth it. Especially the
MapBasic code fragments.
I think that we would be missing out if we didn't keep the Mapinfo User
Group meeting notes. I also agree with Craig Johnson who wrote "Continue to
announce...the delete key is really NOT that difficult to use."
Cheers

Hi John!
I disagreee, and would even like to see more user groups post their
agendas on this list.
While it may seem irrelevant to us abroad (meaning not US), it's ever so
nice to know that you are out there together.
Being a GIS-enthusiast in Sweden can get lonesome at times.
Now I hear that MI Corp has closed their Swedish office too.
