Thanks to those who replied, I'll follow the links suggested and give it a
go. I don't use any CAD packages, but I'm frequently providing data to
clients architects/landscape developers/irrigation planners who all seem to
use packages like "Irricad" and "LiteCAD" and other 'I've got CAD in my
software title so I must be really good'-type packages.  Unfortunately, most
of these "baby" cad packages have very specific (limited?) functionality,
and of course it's always Frontier's fault if the data won't go into their
***!#$ software properly.

I'm at the point where I shudder every time someone asks me if I can export
my beautiful map data to DXF.
