Listers, Can anyone offer me any help on file compression? I have generated a *.Tab file with 1.6million points in it each with a small amount of attribute data attached. It was fairly unmanageable at 910MB but when I indexed it it became 1.6GB...This seems a lot to me but that accepted rather than dumping what has taken me the best part of the morning to generate I would like to compress it quickly and easily for storage. I started to use Winzip but gave up as it was taking so long...can I make the Tab file more manageable or compress it? Cheers, Dave _________________________________________________________ David A.
