List, I am building a European database to which I am matching our data against European cities. The GIS dataset I am using, however, contains city names in the own language - ie 'Athens' is 'Athinai' in my database. The data I have came free with ArcView, and MapInfo didn't include any free European data. Does anyone have this? I only actually need this in spreadsheet format - (and it doesn't have to be limited to 'cities' alone), but if anyone knows where I can get free GIS data in this format for Europe I'd be really appreciative if you could point me the way to it.
