Dear all
I have a mapinfo table that I've created and I want to automatically
reference a column called ref with a unique number, starting at 1 and
finishing on the total of records within the table.
I've tried writing a mapbasic script, I've no problem with generating the
count using mapbasic but I can't then get this written into the 'Ref' column
of the relevant record.
Can anyone offer some me some help as to what I need to do. I tried using
the 'Insert Into' statement but this is clearly wrong.
