I have a table of True Type symbols, some with positive rotation angles, some with negative rotation angles. To get the rotation angle of a selected symbol, I use the following statement: print StyleAttr(ObjectInfo(Selection.Obj,2),4) It works fine with symbols that have a positive rotation angle; however, with symbols that have a negative rotation angle, I get the following error message (in this case, for a symbol that has a negative rotation angle of 30 degrees): "Invalid Style value -300. StyleAttr: argument 1 has invalid type. Print command failed. Unable to evaluate expression". I relayed the information to MapInfo Corp. a while ago, who filed it as an official bug; it flattered my ego but did not provide me with any solution. The obvious solution would be to increase the rotation angle of all symbols by 360 degrees, but in order to do that I have to get the actual rotation angle of symbols, which generates the abovementioned error with negative rotation angles. Does anyone have a suggestion, workaround, etc. Thanks in advance, _____________________________________________ Claude Lavoie, a.g.
