Hello,
Can someone briefly outline the main differences between mapinfo 5 and later
versions when it comes to connecting to oracle databases via the mapinfo
win32 oracle8.x driver. I am trying to use a colleagues MIV5.5 and keep
getting those pesky "cannot resolve server name" type errors despite
reinstalling drivers with all the correct bells and whistles. I also have a
mapbasic V5 program thats not playing with MI v5.5 either...am i staring
doom (mapbasic upgrade) in the face or is there a work around?
