Hello listers,

I am trying to create a thematic map for a table which contains only height
values, basically DTM data. The area I am looking at is islands with a lot
of ocean within the map regions. In the table all the ocean regions
naturally have a value of zero. The problem I am experiencing is that when I
create the thematic map, asking it to ignore zero's or blanks, for some
reason the program is assigning different values to areas in the ocean and
colouring them yellow or green instead of blue. I am getting a thematic map
saying that areas which I know are in the ocean (and in the original table
have a zero altitude value) have an altitude of up to 50m.

Does anyone know why this would occur and what I can do about it?
When I removed all the zero values from a table and mapped and thematically
mapped it I got the same result.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

Bronwyn
