MapInfo is notorious for bad text sizing - the final size depends on the
zoom of the window at which you originally set the text size. The way round
it is to consider one of the third-party add-ons, which set the size of text
for a specified final output scale. However, the only one I know of which
does it is Discover, and it's only worth getting if you want to use some of
the other functions as it is a bit expensive to consider just to solve this
problem. Others may have other suggestions.

Can anyone help

I am trying to adjust the text size through the "Text Style" dialogue box,
however each time I select a point size the text changes to a size different
from that I have requested. I am also having difficulty selecting text and
am finding that marquee select sometimes picks up what I want and sometimes
selects a close by item of text not covered.

All suggestions welcome

Thank you

Martyn
