It's *supposed* to use the earliest version that supports all of the
features
the table uses. This would normally be version 3.0 unless:
1) You use "true type font" or "custom bitmap" symbols (version 4.0, I
think)
2) You use "point-sized" lines (version 4.5)
3) Your polylines and regions contain more than a certain number of points
(increased during several versions)
