Hello, MapInfo-L,
I am a brand spanking new user of MapInfo. I am facing a tight deadline (we
bought MapInfo specifically for this project) and am still behind the
learning curve. What I'd like to know is how to make my map image bigger in
the Layout window so the state will "take up" the whole letter sized page.
I'd also like to know how to "cut" a county from a map and paste in a
different map window, but would like to have the data from the MapInfo ZIP
table and my own database information tables and the buffer zones set up
around zips appear within the county boundary. Do I use the SQL function for
that?
I apologize for posting the question--no doubt with more use this would
become evident. I've checked the MapInfo-L archives, the Help file, the
manual, and have done the tutorial. There has to be something I'm
overlooking, and my deadline is LOOMING.
Thank you very much in advance for any help.
Sincerely,
Harper
