G'day folks, hope the Easter Bunny was able to follow your maps!

Just a quick question in relation to creating one polygon from many (ie: where a
street is delineated by many polygons). How is it possible to combine these so they
only appear as one? The only attribute I need to retain is the street name.

The reason I need to combine them is to view them clearly on my PalmOS PDA using
HandMap by Evolutionary Systems. I am exporting data from MapInfo via shapefile format
to MapIt and then into the PalmVx for viewing. Currently I have difficulty
distinguishing between the property polygons and the street polygons.

PS: If anyone has any good suggestions on map viewing software for a PalmOS device,
please let me know.

Regards,
