Check that the buffer object does not/will not lie partly outside the bounds
of the map..as soon as a buffer object exceeds the map bounds, mapinfo
appears to draw a polygon with all its nodes set to the centroid of the
object you are trying to buffer...your 20 ft radius buffer might be just
squeaking inside the bounds, but the 40 footer wont....
