Dear VA
Mapinfo have a program called MPLISTED which I have found a bit tricky to
wrap my head around, but once you get the hang of it, it is great for
creating your own nifty line styles. You need to register with Mapinfo's
testdrive centre before downloading the file.
I do not know of any facility to design custom fills for regions, so I will
be keen to hear from others in the list if such a program exists.
