I was just looking at the landmark data packaged with MI 6.0 for my hometown in Iowa
(Iowa City, about 60k). Where does this stuff
come from? They have a school in that database that was shut down when I was in grade
school over twenty years ago, and two more
that were shut down when I was in junior high. Neither of the major high schools are
in there, and the huge university hospital is
classified as a school instead of a hospital. I know it's hard to keep data current,
but this is really bad.
