MI Gurus

Through a MB program I geocode data to a cadastral map. Each cadastral
parcel has a unique ID which is used in the geocoding process. Within the
cadastral map there are some very minute parcels of land which are only
100mm wide (access blocking strips) but can be quite long. Most often the
geocoding process allocates the data for the access blocking strip to an
adjoining parcel of land, which it shouldn't be doing, ( as well as to the
access blocking strip itself, sometimes). The only reason, I can think of,
that this occurs is because the access blocking strip centroid is outside
its actual polygon.

I am unable to determine a way to overcome this problem and would appreciate
it very much if someone is able to come up with some ideas or solution.

Does the MB Find function use the polygon centroid in any way?

Is there some way to check (within a MB function) if a polygon centroid is
outside its polygon?

Thanks
