The only way I have found to overcome this limitation is to export the map
to, e.g.,
CorelDraw and plot from there. All other efforts such as spooling plots to
other computers ran headlong into the limitation on temp file size.

Subject: MI-L huge printing temp files

Hi all

I have a map composed of 4 raster files (USGS DRGs) and 3 vector layers =
(not very complicated) and I am trying to print a portion of it. =
Whenever I try to print (either using the Layout window or the ordinary =
print command) MapInfo crashes before it prints because it produces a =
1.5Gb temp file that fills the hard drive. I am trying to print to a HP =
Deskjet 932C that is directly connected to computer. Has anyone else had =
this problem, or have a suggestion to fix it? Any help would be much =
appreciated.

Cheers
Ken Hickey
