Ben:

A couple 'pros' on the side of TargetPro...

1.) the US Census Bureau has chosen to bundle the TargetPro Demographic
Analyzer engine (under a different name) to deliver with Census Summary
Files 1 - 4. So, if you buy data directly from the Census Bureau as it is
released over the next three years or so, it will delivered in the same data
retrieval engine as TargetPro.

2.) Block Centroid Retrieval methodology. TargetPro delivers very precise
on-the-fly demographic reporting based on the percentages of population at a
block level and the allocation of data at the block group level for ANY size
or shape geography.

3.) TargetPro is blistering fast. You can run hundreds of reports in just
seconds.

Subject: MI-L Target Pro vs. PCensus for MapInfo

My company is looking to purchase new demographic software and we are
looking at both Target Pro and PCensus USA for Mapinfo. We have used both
in the past and there are obviously pros and cons to each. I was looking
for any feedback from others using these demographic packages or any other
comparable demographic software packages. Our only pre-requisit is that the
software is able to interact with MapInfo Professional.

Thanks in advance
-Ben
