I have a table of State boundaries and I have created a 10 mile buffer
around the whole U.S. boundary. What I am trying to do is extend the State
boundaries out to the buffer. The problem is I convert the State file to
polylines and extend two new lines from the state boundary to the buffer and
then combine them. The result is when I convert back to polygon the original
state boundary has been delete from the boudaries.
Any help would be appreciated, NEAL
