Subject: MI-L Problems installing MIP6.5 on NT4 machine
Good morning to all,
A client of ours is trying to install MapInfo 6.5 on an NT4 machine
(with SP5 patch installed and administrative rights) and is getting =
the
following errors :
1. When installing from the CD, while the installer shield is looking
for previously installed components and the installation directory, the
following error message appears :
General Window Installer Error 1603
and indicating that there is not enough disk space for setup.ini.
2. After copying the files on the hard disk and allowing more disk =
space
for Setup.ini, the installer is launched again. It goes a little
further, then stops during installation and the following error message
appears :
Internal Error 2103.47
Anyone has any idea what this means?
Could it be an error on the CD itself?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
