Good morning,

Thank you for all the advice that I promptly received!

Here is a summary :
- Uninstall MIP completely;
- Clear system's Temp folder;
- Make sure Msiexec.exe is not running;
- Exit any Anti Virus or TSR program;
- Install should be run from the CD (copied files removed);
- Windows Installer Service and InstallShield to be deleted before
reinstalling;
- Reboot 2-3 times if necessary.

All this was done but without any success. A few people mentionned
installing MIP6.5 on an NT4 machine without any problems. It seems like
the problem might be with the CD itself after all or, as was also
mentionned, might come from a PC problem.

Thank you once more and hopefully all this information can be usefull to
someone else!
