I have two queries related to ODBC with MapInfo. 1) I've gone through the User Manual's chapter 21, but the information is (I think) rather limited. I'd like to find out more about ODBC with regards to Access databases, specifically how you can link to a linear or region table through ODBC. The page on "Make Table Mappable Dialog - Object Type" doesn't really tell me much. It just says it can be done using Autometric SQS, whatever that is. 2)Sometimes when I've created a Map Catalog on point data, using X,Y coordinates, and then view the table in a Browser Window, the X,Y columns are no longer visible? Why is this and how can I get around it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. In addition, are there any detailed sources of information regarding ODBC with MapInfo?
