Greg,
have you tried to set up an ODBC link from Access to MapInfo?
Get your GIS and Database person to review Ch 23 of the MapInfo Users Guide
and also for easy to follow instructions have a look at:
MapInfo's MapWorld magazine Vol 5 # 3 Summer 2000 pp.26-27

(look for the article in TechTips "Opening an Access Table via DBMS Using
MapInfo Professional"). Make sure that the procedures are followed in
exactly the same order as given in these directions.
This should overcome your problem.
