You just install it in your fonts directory and that should work. Note, by "install" you basically copy and paste it (in windows) to the fonts directory. Windows will realize you are adding a new font and will install it. You should see some progress bar showing you that it is installing. Dos command copy won't work. Then you should be able to choose it in MapInfo.
