First of all, it's possible make a map window containing nothing but a bitmap registered to a "Non-Earth" coordinate system. Then, you can make a "template" layout with frames for several of these maps, and possibly "boiler plate" text like your agency name and address. Save the layout to a workspace file. When it's time to put a map in such a document, create the map, open the "template layout" workspace, and create a frame for the map in the layout. Voila'! Another possibility is to create a document template in your favorite word processing program and use OLE (the "drag Map Window" tool) to embed a Mapinfo Map window in your document. Unfortunately, it's difficult to get things to look right using this method. Finally, there are several third-party solutions for map publishing.
