Use a region with lots of points around the edge, not a
rectangle. Otherwise the first time you try to use a projection
you'll see why a rectangle won't cut it.

But "blue" is so too boring for a feature as mysterious and
powerful as the ocean. Depending on Poseidon's mood it can be
deep green, slate grey, wine dark... ;-)
