Hello All,
I'm back after a year off the list, only checking online off and on. I was
laid off from my GIS position in June when the company went under. Does
anyone know of any MapInfo positions in the Houston, Texas area. I've been a
hard-core MI user for 5 years and I'm also a experienced GIS and web
programmer. I'm finding it pretty hard to stay in the GIS industry here.
Everyone seems to be looking for ESRI product experience and trying to
convince them that I can handle the GIS work doesn't seem to get me far.
I've even gone as far as to buy an ARCGIS8 book with a demo cd to learn it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
