A summary... (original question below)

Hiding grid lines on a browser:
When you make the browser window active, click from the menu Browse->Options
and remove the tick from 'Show grid lines'.

Hiding the field / column title:
There appears to be no easy way to do this, but several suggestions were

Many thanks for all your help, and a Happy Christmas to everyone!

Karen

  A quick Monday question...

Is there a way to turn of the display of lines between rows in a browser,
and also hide the column title, so that when displayed in a layout frame
it
  looks like straight text ?

  Will sum replies.

  Many thanks
  Karen
