I observed a difference between MapInfo and ArcView when importing ADRG raster
files.
I used the Nimamuse Raster Importer 2.1 software to read a CD which has 1:50 000
ADRG coverage and saved an area from that coverage to MapInfo Tab/TIF file
format. The file is automatically saved as Lat/Long (nad83). The Tab/Tif file
imported nicely into MapInfo and the image looks good.
Nimamuse gives the option to save the same image under many other formats
including ArcView. So I also saved the same coverage as an ArcView Tfw/Tif.
However when I open this file in ArcView the image looks slightly skewed as if
the image was streched a little bit along the x axis. And the UTM grid looks
more like rectangles then squares as it is shown in the MapInfo version. I'm
not very familiar with ArcView and was wondering why there is visual difference
between MapInfo and ArcView when viewing the same image?

TIA

Dan
