I have been advised by my predecessor that you may be able to assist me with a MapInfo query.
Basically I am a novice user and have been hurled in at the deep end. I am wishing to update a previous map which contains a table which plots out symbols representing various postcodes in an area in the UK. I have been given an updated version of the table which basically is an excel file (2 columns, 1 with postcodes in it and the other with a number representing mode of transport). I have been trying to Geocode the table so it appears on the map as symbols but am failing miserably. I presume within the workspace I am using there is a table which the postcodes will reference themselves to but just cant seem to get it all to work. I would be grateful for any assistance you can offer.
