If you look at any other piece of software they vary rarely 'downgrade' to previous versions because they have new functionality in the newer versions that is not compatible with the old version. This is why they produce newer versions.
Some applications will allow you to export to a previous version of the software BUT you will lose any of the added functionality in the process. Unfortunately MI does not do this. As far as upgrading to 6.5 I really don't think that it is worth it because it seems to have caused so many problems for so many people in our company and, it seems, across this mailing list. I would recommend staying with 6.0 until they at least sort out all the silly little bugs in 6.5, by which time I am sure MI7 will be ready to cause even more confusion. It would be nice if the people at MI would get there act together and produce a reliable, competitive piece of software by listening to what people on this list are complaining about before people start acting by changing software. Stinks a bit to me of this idea that you have to go out and buy the newest version of MI pro if you want everything to run smoothly.
