I am new to this group as well as Mapinfo.
I need help in trying to email a MI 6.5 file. Not sure if I am saving it correctly. It basically is a map with a cosmetic layer only showing fiber distribution through some cities. However when I try to email the saved file the other person cannot open it. I was told when I save a file it should be 4 smaller files, a DAT, mapinfo, not sure of the other 2. But when I click save workspace that is the only file I can find to email. Am I saving correctly? Or is there a way to find out if how I am saving it into the 4 files to check? Desperately needing help. I am new to this and this program is what our company adopted and still trying to learn it so I hope my question doesn't sound too dumb.
