You should save the cosmetic layer as a table by choosing 'Save Cosmetic Objects' in the 'Map' menu. Save as a <new> table. In the folder you save it in, there will be 4 files associated with the table: File.TAB File.MAP File.ID File.DAT
...these four files are what you should email, rather than the workspace.
