Ron. There are a few things that you can do.
1. Run a thematic map. You would need to build an expression, e.g. Height \ 5 = 0. You will get True for index contours and False for intermediate. You can then thematically colour the 2 classes. 2. Add an index contour column to your contour table, then using Table> Update column use the above expression to fill in trues and false. You can then run a thematic map. 3. Use the Query tool and run the above expression to select all index contours then save them as a new table. I hope that helps.
