Ron.

There are a few things that you can do.

1. Run a thematic map. You would need to build an expression, e.g. Height \ 5 = 0.
You will get True for index contours and False for intermediate. You can then
thematically colour the 2 classes.

2. Add an index contour column to your contour table, then using Table> Update column
use the above expression to fill in trues and false. You can then run a thematic map.

3. Use the Query tool and run the above expression to select all index contours then
save them as a new table.

I hope that helps.

I have a large map with contours generated by Vertical Mapper.
I would like to change every 5th contour to a heavier line width.
For example.. contour interval = 1 meter, min contour = -6, max. contour =
28
Heavy line width contours = -5, 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25

Any ideas?

Selecting each of the "Major Contours" to change line width is an
unacceptable method.
