Chris: Don't know if this is the problem, but check the bounds on the tables involved. The larger the Minimum Boundary Rectangle (MBR), the less precision.
There may be other ways to find the MBR for a table, but if you export it as a MID/MIF, then open the MIF in a text editor, you can see the Bounds Clause, if it has one. If it doesn't, MapInfo still imposes default bounds (not listed in the MIF), sometimes much larger than anything that makes sense. You may want to manually add a reasonable Bounds Clause then re-import the MIF. ..good luck ....Bob Robert Karr Phone: 517-373-3028 Science Research Assistant FAX: 517-373-0171 Science and Technology Division Legislative Service Bureau Michigan State Legislature 124 West Allegan Street, 4th Floor pob 30036 Lansing, MI 48909-7536 USA _______________________________________________________________________ List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MapInfo-L" in the message body.
