Erin, I do not have a specific fix, but I can provide some advice and experience that may help you resolve the issue.
I was having similar problems a few years ago. I had to experiment with combinations of drivers and PPDs to get the correct results. First, use only postscript drivers and create a PS file. Then use Distiller to convert. For some documents, using PS4 with a generic PPD worked. For some documents and maps, I used a PS5 driver and a Tektronix 350 PPD. I wousl start with that one. I found that even the difference between the PPD for the Tektronix 740 Standard and the PPD for the 740 Extended made a difference in my output. Once you have a combination that works, you can use the settings to fine tune color calibrations and the like. I have also found that Acrobat versions can make a difference. What worked well for Acrobat 4 had to be tweaked to make it work with Acrobat 5. I do not have any experience with large format PDFs so hopefully someone else can provide some advice there. - Brad At 05:38 PM 5/2/2002 -0400, you wrote: >Can anyone tell me what the settings are to print to a pdf?
