I would like to automatically add text to a layout which states the LL of either a point or the centroid of an object and also "scale on paper". I was wondering if there is some way of automating this process. Currently I have a "generic" layout with the basic info but I have to manually edit the text boxes to reflect changes when I add a different TAB file for another region. I get the info by hovering over the point to get the coordinates and then type them in the layout. Is there something I could paste in each layout which would do this??? I guess it could be added in the Mapper as well and I could move it to a good display location. I tried adding a frame in the layout which contains the Browser, but there is too much extraneous info.
Also, whenever I create a new TAB file I get red regions and star points. I then have to manual override them to the colors I prefer. How can I change the default for point line and regions???
