When you open up a MapInfo workspace in a text editior all the units used for specifying position and size of layout frames seem to always be in inches. Is there anyway I can change the units written to the *.wor file to metric values?
I have already tried changing Options -> preferences -> System Settings to Paper and Layout units: centimetres. This changes the on-screen rulers, but it does not change the values or units written to file when a workspace is saved. I want to set layout frame size and positions to specific metric parameters without having to work out imperial to metric conversions. Any assistance much appreciated.
