I have seen a tool from the Kiev Software factory which allows PAUSE
drawing!
You can digitise, pause, zoom and pan, then unpause and start exactly where
you left off!
I think the tool is called Enhanced Drawing Tools and includes lots of other
cool stuff (isnt it from Andrew Dressel??)

Subject: MI-L Zooming while drawing polylines

Here's something that should be an easy answer, but darned if I can find it!

I am drawing polylines, tracing over a raster image. Sometimes I need high
detail so I
can accurately follow the raster. Sometimes I don't want so much detail as I
have a
really long straight lines, and although the map scrolls automatically when
I go past
the edge, it still takes ages to get where I want to go.

Is there any way to zoom in and out while in the middle of drawing a
polyline without
losing my place? Failing that, any way to continue drawing my polyline after
pressing
Escape & zooming to my new position? I know I can use Snap to get to where I
left
off and then maybe combine all the polylines into 1 at the end, but this
sounds pretty
tedious...

Dave
