I have seen a tool from the Kiev Software factory which allows PAUSE drawing! You can digitise, pause, zoom and pan, then unpause and start exactly where you left off! I think the tool is called Enhanced Drawing Tools and includes lots of other cool stuff (isnt it from Andrew Dressel??) HTH Doug
