Mike,

Just open the tiff file from the File Open command (select Raster file
format from the 'Files of Type' picklist of course). MI will open the file
and georeference it automatically if a tfw exists. BTW MI 6.5 will do the
same.

Regards,

Keith

Subject: MI-L RE: GeoTiff in MapInfo 7.0

Hi all,

I have some tfw files that are associated with tiff images. I have just
installed MapInfo 7.0 beacuse it is supposed to enable me to view these
GeoTiff with going through the process of georeferencing. Can someone out
there give me some guidance as to what the process is please? Have read the
MapInfo User guide but this is not helping much

Thanks
