Hello Luis, List,

MS Access has a way of defining character fields with a default length of
255 characters. The total length of a record could, therefore, exceed the
4000 bytes maximum set by MapInfo. Try shortening the Text fields in Access
to reasonable lengths.

Best regards,

Subject: MI-L Linking Access

Hello,
My workspace is linked to Access.
I tried to import a table (71 columns) and the message I get is "Unable to
create New Table"
I checked for repeated column names and everything is ok.
I imported column by column and I get that message when imported column 37.
If I import from column 15 to 71 and I don't have that message.

Anyone know what kind of error message is this one?
Where the "bug" can be?

Thanks in advance

Luis
