Hi Yuri, One soultion would be to start using a better OS, eg. Win2000 ;-). No seriously this error seems only to occure with Win 98 (and maybe Win95).
As far as I remember a soultion could be to uninstall MapInfo and reinstall without the last patch (build 31). According to MapInfo Tech-Support this error is caused by an confilct with the video card. I encountered this problem about a year ago on the same system- it was eventually resolved but I can't remember how! Recently I formatted the HD and did a clean reinstall of all software, and the problem has resurfaced. My setup: MI 6.5 (patch 6503100 applied) Win 98SE (ver. 4.10.2222 A) CPU: AMDK6-500 If anyone has had similar experience or has any ideas what may be causing it, I'd be glad to hear of it.
