Hello all I am having trouble with my display (GDI apparently) in MapInfo 7. Does anyone know if MI7 uses a lot more graphics memory than older versions?
The problem occurs when I have more than one application open - this did not used to happen with older versions. I am writing a training manual, and as such have MS Word, MI, and Excel open at the same time. Norton keeps telling me I'm running out of GDI resources, even though the files I have open in MI are both few, and small. I did have a similar trouble previously with large raster files not reallocating graphics memory on panning, but that was fixed by the recent patch. I'm using MI7 and Win98.
