Hi Chris,

Well there are several ways to do this, some better than the other:

Buffer: You can create a buffer around each of the selected points.
The problem using buffere are that there might be areas where there is no
buffer
and the might also be some buffere overlapping each other.

Voronoi: If you want to cover the entire area between your points and so to
speak
want to attach areas to the points the new Voronoi function in MapInfo v7
is the
way to go. Note that if you haven't got a Target area the voronoi areas
created will
only cover the area of the MBR (Minimum Bounding Rectangle) of the selected
points.
Creating voronoi areas with a Target Area active will fit these areas to
the Target
area. This really is a needful thing, but not to well documented.

HTH,
Peter

If i have selected points and they are located as bunches of points in
different areas. How do i put an area (polygon) around each of the bunches
??
