I am using MIP v5.0 to vectorize polygon objects from an underlying raster image. Despite efforts to minimize "digitizing" error, I am constantly getting a 20 - 50 m shift between raster and vector tables whenever I shut the program down and restart.
Eg. Country outline, roads, etc. no longer overly the raster original but are shifted as a package in one direction or another. Quite annoying and a serious waste of valuable time. Any suggestions as to how this can be rectified?.....upgrade? ...image registration?
