Greetings All: My print shop people want me to use Helvetica instead of my favorite, Arial, on my maps. I don't seem to have it as a separate font (like TrueType) anywhere on my PC. Don't know if it exists inside some other file. No other app on my PC offers the choice of Helvetica, and, without detailed comparison, all apps seem to offer the same set of fonts. That leads me to believe that all apps use the same "pool" of fonts stored and "administered" by the operating system (NT4,sp6, in my case).
So, how do I get Helvetica?? How do I install it, and, where, so that MapInfo will recognize it, and make it available?? In general, how does MapInfo handle text fonts?? ...thanks ....Bob Robert Karr Phone: 517-373-3028 GIS Operator FAX: 517-373-0171 Science and Technology Division Legislative Service Bureau Michigan State Legislature 124 West Allegan Street, 4th Floor pob 30036 Lansing, MI 48909-7536 USA --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 3408
